First we set up a highly focussed Google Ads campaign that minimises wasted spend and utilises the correct channels that are relevant for you (which may include Search, Display, and/or Shopping, depending on products or services and your industry). We utilise a broad range of tools to optimise our campaign setup, including: retargeting website visitors, selecting appropriate audiences, geo-targeting, targeting appropriate age groups, setting intelligent budget limits and bidding strategies, optimising website landing pages for high conversion rates and high quality scores, and limiting the display of ads to specific times of day and days of the week most appropriate to your target audience and industry.

Bing Ads Setup

Then at a very low additional cost, we then set up a weekly sync to a Microsoft Ads campaign (MS Ads is the new name for Bing Ads). As the Bing pay-per-click platform reflects the Google PPC platform so closely, around 80 or 90% of setting from Google Ads optimisations are carried over automatically into the Bing Ads once this is set up, meaning you get 2 campaigns for the price of 1, fully automated. Bing search usage is growing rapidly, especially in the UK, and as a result, we’re typically seeing much better cost-per-acquisition (or cost per conversion) rates within Bing Ads – this won’t last for ever we’re sure, but right now it’s an opportunity to be utilised.

We also help you to make sure that PPC is not your only means of getting online visibility – after all, you have to pay for every click with PPC, whereas SEO offers free clicks, and also much higher visibility – some studies indicate as much as 90% of potential business is to be obtained from good organic search rankings, not from paid advertising, so a balanced overall SEM strategy will give you the best ROI in the long term. In some industries though, especially those offering emergency repair services or other fast-response items, the importance of paid ads cannot be overlooked.
